Scripture
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

Observation
Paul commands us to rejoice always in the Lord. We must live lives of gentleness.

Anxiety is cured by prayer in everything together with thanksgiving. When we do that we can know the peace of God which passes all understanding.

Application
In every situation we are to look to the Lord. Our focus must always be on Him because it is He that we serve.

If we are feeling down we must rejoice.

If we feel anxious we must pray with thanksgiving.

Our lives are all about Jesus.

Prayer
Lord help me to focus on you in every situation in my life. Thank you that in the midst of storms, you are my peace. Amen.
